The situation of last week has nearly been repeated. There was a good western wind on friday for practicing and sometimes for surviving. On saturday the south wind has hardly come in the morning, but on the biggest course that can be set on the lake 2 races were held. After that the rain that has been expected before has come and that was for all.

The first race was won by Gaszton, Sipi (Peter Sipos) came second.. On the leader board a point equality developed between Vas Gyuri, Bőrtok (Márton Beliczay) and Varga Lajos. Gyuri was the leader, because he was better in the last race. That evening we awarded ourselves with a couple of beers, some cakes and a visit to a local pub.

 Next day everybody was thirsty for blood, since the likely winner Gaszton was only the 5th placed and the leading pack wanted to fight it out. The weather wanted otherwise and due to the 7°C with strong winds made the organizers cancel the race and announce the winners at noon.

 Vas Gyuri won deservedly, because he has sailed the most this year so far. In my opinion, this result made a lot us think. One thing is for sure, racing on Lake Velencei  isn’t always the best to develop speed, it’s better to go abroad for it.
